Apoka Safari Lodge enjoys stunning views across the Kidepo Valley in northeast Uganda, and offers ten spacious canvas rooms built around a jagged rocky outcrop or kopje.

All the rooms are fitted with hardwood floors, handmade furniture and hot running water heated by solar power. Each room also has an outdoor bath, which is perfect for looking out over the plains below or for a spot of stargazing in the evening. The lodge has an excellent restaurant where meals are served from a set menu and there is also a rock swimming pool, which overlooks a waterhole.
