Nestled on the southern bank of the River Nile, the intimate Baker’s Lodge is an ideal base from which to explore the stunning Murchison Falls National Park.

Taking its name from the historic English explorer Samuel Baker, the lodge is an intimate, safari styled property set within a large private area of the park, with direct river access. The large shady trees and wetland areas host abundant birdlife and the property's magnificent views of the river offer opportunities to see nesting egrets, elephants bathing and hippos passing by.

Each of the ten rooms at Baker’s Lodge comprises an individual raised safari suite with its own deck overlooking the river. Each suite is spacious, large and airy with netted windows, customised solid wood furniture and specially selected locally crafted items furnishing the rooms. The en suite bathrooms feature solar hot water showers.

Public areas of the lodge include a bar and dining area positioned to enjoy both sunrise and sunset, an outdoor swimming pool and a curio shop.
