Located on the northern shores of Lake Malawi, Chintheche Inn is a beautiful boutique hotel, offering a range of activities both in and out of the water.
The Inn has ten double rooms that open out onto the beach and are all brightly furnished using local crafts. All rooms are en suite with fans and mosquito nets. Activities at the Inn include paddleskiing, windsurfing, sailing and there is also a large swimming pool. You can enjoy interesting beach walks - miles of pristine white sand interspersed with jagged rock formations and charming fishing villages - plus the opportunity to get out into the nearby indigenous forest for some excellent birding with knowledgeable guides.
The Inn is easily accessed by charter flight to and from Lilongwe or other safari camps in Malawi, with a longer road trip also possible.

Lake Malawi covers nearly one quarter of the country. Its northern shore combines well with the Nyika Plateau and feels relatively untouched, while the most exclusive lodges are located on the Mozambique side.
