Don Bruno is a small and simple hotel located in the picturesque mining town of Angangueo, ideally situated to visit the nearby butterfly sanctuaries.

The rooms of this small and simple hotel cluster around a garden courtyard. Facilities include a small restaurant and WiFi internet connection. Due to the altitude – around 2,580 metres above sea level – nights can be cold, so a room with a fireplace is a good option (one bundle of firewood is included, more can be provided at additional cost).

Angangueo is lovely town in the Sierra Madre Oriental of Michoacan, full of cobbled streets and wooden houses. At certain times of year, you'll find its skies filled with the beating of the monarch butterfly's golden wings.
