On the savannah plains near the Kyambura Gorge and facing the Rwenzori Mountains, this lodge comprises eight thatched bandas nestled into the hillside, each with panoramic views.

The bandas are made from timber and brick, with en suite shower, flush toilet and hot and cold running water, a mosquito net and a private balcony. Each has a view out over the savannah or the gorge.

From the lodge you can go chimp tracking and enjoy vehicle safaris or boat trips on the Kazinga Channel, to view the animals who come to drink there. There are also guided walks.

Facilities include a swimming pool in which to relax after a day of trekking to see the chimpanzees.
