Dating back to the mid-19th century, this rural property is bursting with character and is situated only a short distance from the Sierra de Andújar Natural Park.
La Caracola has all the hallmarks of traditional Andalucian houses with thick whitewashed walls, wrought iron bars around the windows and tiled floors. The grounds surrounding the accommodation cover a large area of varied and rich forest synonymous with the Mediterranean and home to numerous interesting bird and mammal species. The rooms are spacious, clean and quaint, and all come with en suite bathrooms.
The property has a swimming pool and a lounge which is perfect for some relaxation. In the winter months, there is often a fire going in the lounge which is extremely welcoming after a day of exploring in Andújar. The owners have also built a hide at La Caracola for those who wish to spend some time watching the birds and other wildlife that can be seen in the grounds.
