A luxury camp with an intimate and tranquil atmosphere, Lagoon Camp is set on the shady banks of the Kwando River among ancient ebony and marula trees at the western end of the vast Kwando Concession in northern Botswana.
Accommodation consists of eight safari-style tents, overlooking the river and equipped with modern amenities including en suite bathroom with open-air shower and flushing toilet. Delicious food is served in the central dining area and drinks beside the refreshing pool during the heat of the day.
Playful spotted-necked otters are commonly seen performing in the lagoon right in front of the tents, and the camp has its own resident family of hippo. The concession is home to several packs of wild dogs, as well as large elephant and buffalo populations.
