Its 64 well-appointed chalet rooms have an en suite bathroom and private verandah, and the restaurant and pool areas offer stunning views of the soda lake.

The gardens are filled with tall acacia trees and winding walkways, and are a natural haven for birdlife, attracting over 50 species of birds of the 400 or so that inhabit Lake Nakuru National Park.

Although Lake Nakuru is relatively small, it is known for one of the greatest bird spectacles on earth – thousands of fuschia-coloured flamingos.
