Located in the heart of the Great Rift Valley, Loldia House sits on the green shores of Lake Naivasha, with breathtaking views of the lake and the dormant volcano of Mount Longonot.

It is nestled under acacia trees on one of the country’s oldest farms, and offers a choice of flexible accommodation. There are four en suite rooms in the main house, one neighbouring cottage with two en suite rooms, and a newly-built cottage on the lakeshore is the perfect choice for honeymooners, with views over the lake.  In addition, Loldia Cottage has three double rooms, its own lounge with log fire and panoramic lake views – ideal for families or a small group.

Meals are of a high standard, and are served either under the trees during the day or in the dining room in the evening.

Loldia is ideally situated for day visits to the flamingo lakes of Elementaita, Bogoria and Nakuru, where there is also a rhino sanctuary. You can explore the 3,600 hectare farm on foot or by horse, among herds of wild antelope and zebra. Trips on the lake are provided for birdwatching as there are many bird species along the shoreline, from pelicans and fish eagles to weavers and warblers. You can also visit the nearby Hell’s Gate National Park with its spectacular canyons, hot springs and wildlife, or Joy Adamson’s House.

Loldia House is a two hour transfer by road from Nairobi.
