Overlooking the vast Liuwa Plain, King Lewanika Lodge sits on the upper Munde Stream, a site chosen for its panoramic views and abundance of wildlife.

Comprising of six luxury villas, including a two-bedroom family villa, the lodge accommodates a maximum of 15 guests. Designed by acclaimed lodge architects, who were behind the stylish and innovative Chinzombo Camp in South Luangwa, each villa is raised on platforms to provide spectacular views of the wilderness and wildlife beyond.

The camp has been named after King Lewanika from the ancient kingdom of Barotseland, who first proclaimed Liuwa a protected area in the 1880s.
