Mchenja is a stylish and luxurious camp set in a stunning location overlooking the Luangwa River. Wildlife activities consist of day and night drives and the speciality – walking safaris.
Four of the five spacious tents sleep two and stand on a polished wooden deck under a thatched roof, and come with a fan, open-air en suite bathroom, outside shower and an indulgent bath tub overlooking the river. The fifth tent is a family villa, accommodating up to five people. The thatched central building contains the dining area, with comfortable seating, a small bar and a plunge pool. To ensure a tranquil stay, there's no WiFi or phone signal. Laundry is included. Children of all ages are welcome.
A stay here can be combined with its sister camps (Luwi,Nsolo and Kakuli) to create a varied circuit in an area rich in wildlife.
