In a perfect setting beside Lake Mburo National Park, the luxurious Mihingo Lodge offers guests a tranquil location in complete seclusion.

Accommodation consists of 12 spacious and comfortable tented rooms built on wooden platforms with thatched roofs, all with exceptional views and decorated in local style. Some rooms are situated overlooking the lake, with others in the forest or near the busy waterhole. All have an en suite bathroom with shower, hot and cold running water and a flush toilet.

The large central dining area, with an infinity pool below it, is a perfect spot to enjoy stunning views of sunset over the park. The pool also overlooks a waterhole where zebra, bushbuck, buffalo, eland, impala and warthogs can be seen.

Activities include vehicle and foot safaris in Lake Mburo National Park  plus boat trips on the lake, night drives and horse riding safaris.

Lake Mburo is a small, attractive park of rolling hills, grassland and a large papyrus-fringed lake. Effectively an extension of the Tanzanian plains, it has almost 70 species of mammal and good density of plains game.
