Mombo Camp offers a unique combination of luxury, exclusivity and privacy in the heart of Moremi Game Reserve in central Okavango.
Nine beautifully furnished and spacious tents are raised off the ground, with full en suite facilities and an additional outdoor shower for those who enjoy bathing under the stars. The guest rooms are linked with raised walkways to the dining room, bar and living area which overlooks the open plain in front of the camp, and there is a plunge pool for relaxing in the heat of the day.
Activities at Mombo are land based and include day and night game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, accompanied by experienced guides. Lion sightings are particularly good here, and a large pack of wild dogs frequents the area around the camp and has been successful in raising many litters in recent years. The excellent wildlife at Mombo has made this area Botswana's top documentary location - National Geographic, the BBC and many others have filmed here.
