Mountain Gorilla View Lodge provides good value, spectacular views of the volcanoes and easy access to Volcanoes National Park (PNV) for gorilla trekking.

Set on the slopes of Mt. Sabyinyo, the lodge has 30 individual stone cottages, providing both space and privacy. Each has a small lounge with a fireplace to ward off the chill at this altitude, a private verandah and en suite facilities with a shower. The furnishings are simple and comfortable, with queen-size beds and individual safe. .

The central area includes a simple restaurant and bar area. Meals are good and portions are generous with a choice of starters, mains and desserts at dinner - tasty home cooking. Breakfast is buffet with the choice of a full cooked breakfast. Located just 15 minutes from park headquarters, Mountain Gorilla View Lodge is well placed for gorilla trekking.
