Surrounded by the Rwenzori Mountains, also known as the ‘Mountains of the Moon’, Mweya Safari Lodge is a large, first-class accommodation situated in the heart of the Queen Elizabeth National Park.

It offers 44 en suite rooms and two suites, all of which have private balconies overlooking the famous Kazinga Channel with its large hippo population. There are also some family cottages. The lodge has a beautiful swimming pool sunk into the large deck, as well as a spa and a boutique from which you can purchase clothing, local crafts, basic necessities and souvenirs.

Activities centre on vehicle safaris to see the famous tree climbing lions in the Ishasha region of Queen Elizabeth National Park, as well as elephant, leopard, buffalo, bushbuck, waterbuck and the giant forest hog, Africa's largest pig. There are also wildife cruises on the Kazinga Channel, where an astonishing 619 bird species have previously been recorded.
