Owned and operated by the same family as Chiawa, this camp has a simple concept - to provide an authentic, intimate safari that concentrates on wildlife and the bush experience while not forgoing creature comforts or good service.
Set in acacia trees on a bank of the Zambezi, four unpretentious reed-and-canvas chalets have en suite bathroom, mosquito nets, lanterns and simple wardrobes, with a wooden verandah deck outside. En suite bathrooms have basin, toilet and bucket showers which are filled with hot water on your return from a walk of game drive.
The heart of the camp is a dining room under a thatched roof with lovely views of the river and islands. Activities focus on walking, though you can also do day and night game drives, and canoe safaris.
