Oliver’s Camp is situated in the remote south-eastern sector of Tarangire National Park. It comprises of ten large tents set in a beautiful location overlooking the Minyonyo Pools floodplain.

This exclusive location is perfect for viewing crowded local waterholes, the spectacular and wildlife-rich Silale swamps, and the more popular baobab-country in the north. Walking safaris, fly-camping and off-road driving are all possible in this part of the park, led by experienced naturalist guides.

Each of the tents are raised on wooden platforms and suspended under thatch roofs. The interiors are relatively simple, but perfectly comfortable and have a variety of amenities that you may need during your stay. There are no chargers in the tents, but you can charge batteries for any electronic items in the camp’s main area. The communal area at Oliver’s Camp is two-storey and is fitted with a selection of comfortable armchairs and wooden tables. There is also a deck from where you can sit and look out on the surrounding bush with wildlife walking by. All in all, Oliver’s Camp is stylish, but traditional at the same time, creating an authentic safari experience.
