Ongava Lodge is a luxurious property, located on one of the largest private reserves in Namibia -the 30,000 hectare Ongava Game Reserve - on the southern boundary of Etosha.
It consists of twelve air-conditioned, brick and thatch chalets with en-suite bathroom. Communal facilities include a hilltop lounge and dining area, both under thatch, together with a pool offering spectacular views over the plains below. There is also a floodlit waterhole.
Wildlife activities include game drives in both Ongava Game Reserve and Etosha, walking safaris and night drives, and the lodge is particularly famous for offering a chance to track rhino on foot.
Its sister camp, Little Ongava, has just three suites, each with a plunge pool – perfect for a group of friends. There is also a tented camp with eight comfortable tents and a small pool.
