Located within the 22,000 hectares Phinda Private Game Reserve in northern KwaZulu-Natal, this sumptuous African safari lodge is set in a rare dry sand forest with an expansive viewing deck and rim flow swimming pool.

Accommodation consists of 16 spacious, glass encased, stilted suites, all with air conditioning, private viewing decks and personal bars, and luxurious en suite bathrooms with separate showers. Meals can be taken on your own private deck or in the boma.

Bordering the iSimangaliso Wetland Park (Greater St. Wetland Park). Phinda Reserve has seven distinct habitats with an abundance of wildlife and bird species, plus the added marine diversity off the nearby Sodwana Coast. Wildlife viewing from the lodge is in open 4 x 4 vehicles with experienced rangers and Zulu trackers, and activities on offer include rhino tracking, bush walks, canoeing and sunset cruises - all included in your stay. Scuba diving, horse-riding and a scenic flight over Maputaland can be arranged and paid for locally.
