Pousada do Parque is a comfortable eco-lodge located in a strategic position on the edge of Chapada dos Guimarães National Park, close to the park’s main attractions.

There are eight rustic, comfortable rooms with private bathroom and air conditioning (although this is rarely necessary due to the pleasant climate). Facilities include a swimming pool, verandah with hammocks, a small shop and an open fire. After a day’s walking in the park, it makes an ideal place to relax. The adjacent restaurant serves tasty home-made food cooked on a traditional wood-stove. NB: meals must be requested in advance.

The lodge lies close to the park’s principal attractions, such as the Bridal Veil Waterfall and the Morro do São Jerônimo. It also has its own private reserve with two breathtaking waterfalls (there’s water from December to the beginning of July), a viewpoint, a cave, several easily accessed trails, and the possibility of horse riding.
