Accommodating up to ten occupants in comfortable two-tier bunk beds, this modern wooden construction is the most spacious and comfortable bear hide of its kind.

The hide is situated in an area of quiet unspoilt forest around 15 to 20 minutes' walk from the road-end, and a semi-clearing guarantees good sightlines and photo opportunities of the bears that are attracted to the site by placing carrion. Owner, Peo Carlsson, who oversaw the design and construction, works closely with a nearby hotel and spa that prepares the food served at the hide, which is located in the hills west of Arbrå, some 15 kilometres north of the regional hub of Bollnäs in Gävleborg county.
