This award-winning tented lodge occupies a ridge of the Wasa River Valley, and offers activities such as chimpanzee tracking, forest walks and boat trips on Lake Albert to see the rare shoebill stork.

The large rooms are tented with permanent thatched roofs, furnished with a large four-poster bed, Persian carpets, and an en suite bathroom with running water. Private verandahs provide panoramic views across the bush and complement the lovely swimming pool area – ideal for relaxing, while still making you feel as though you are in the heart of Africa.

Highlights here are the night drives to see nocturnal species such as large spotted genet, African scops owl, pearl-spotted owlet and nightjars.
