This lodge offers spacious and comfortable accommodation and good food, and is convenient for visiting the nearby Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary.

Situated close to the Sepilok Forest Reserve entrance, it has well-appointed, air-conditioned wooden chalets with en-suite bathrooms which are set in extensive landscaped tropical gardens and rolling hills covered with exotic plants, trees and over 150 different orchids!  Each comfortable chalet has a verandah with a view of either the lake or the rainforest. All are connected by wooden walkways and are located beside the world-famous Sepilok Forest Reserve - home to the last wild orangutans of Northern Borneo. It is not uncommon to see orangutans wandering through the property.

The famed Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre is just a short walk away, and activities in the area include birding, jungle trekking, night walks or boat trips on the River Kinabatangan. The Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary at Labuk is a 30-45 minute drive away.
