This camp sits on a rocky outcrop on the Mkata floodplain of Mikumi National Park. The restaurant and bar offer 360 degree game viewing, and a fine panorama over the plain and Mwanamboga waterhole.

Eight large tents with en suite bathrooms, solar heated showers, flushing toilets, electric lighting and shady verandahs create a true bush safari atmosphere. This is an ideal place if you are seeking a really personal experience. The camp closes for a short period in April during the rains, due to its location on a floodplain, but its sister camp – Vuma Hills – remains open all year round.
