Sitting high up on a rocky outcrop on Mikumi National Park’s Mkata floodplain, Stanley’s Kopje enjoys 360 degree views of the surrounding wilderness. Wildlife can be viewed at the nearby Mwanamboga waterhole.

Eight large tents with en suite bathrooms, solar heated showers, flushing toilets, electric lighting and shady verandahs create a true bush safari atmosphere. This is an ideal place if you are seeking a really personal experience.

The camp closes for a short period in April during the rains, due to its location on a floodplain. However, its sister camp – Vuma Hills – remains open all year round.
