Located on the River Gambia, Tendaba Camp is a simple, yet comfortable base for exploring the bird-rich Kiang West National Park.

Accommodation consists of simple rondavel-style round huts (supplied with mosquito-net, shower and toilet), which are made out of natural materials from the bush. A generator provides electricity, but is switched off after midnight. The main area consists of a bar and restaurant, and swimming pool.

From the camp itself, you can travel by pirogue (canoe) into the nearby creeks to enjoy the abundant birdlife, such as blue-breasted kingfisher, Pel’s fishing owl and African finfoot, or take walks in the surrounding forest.
