Situated on the south bank of the Brahmaputra River, Wild Grass is a simple jungle lodge, ideally located to search for the elusive Indian rhinoceros in nearby Kaziranga National Park.

Accommodation is in 18 double rooms with en suite facilities in two separate lodge buildings. The grounds contain more than 40 species of trees, plus over 200 species of shrubs, creepers and climbers. Activities include wildlife safaris by jeep in the national park, accompanied by a local naturalist guide, nature treks, and a visit to a tribal village or tea plantation.

Kaziranga is the last stronghold of the one-horned Indian rhinoceros, and home to much other wildlife and its bird population increases markedly in winter with the arrival of migratory species.
