When to go

Weather in the Maldives is influenced by two monsoons. Marine life is excellent throughout the year. 


  • Southwest monsoon

    May to Nov: During the southwest season, access to the best snorkelling sites is on the eastern side of the atolls.
  • Northeast monsoon

    Dec to Apr: The northeast monsoon brings fast currents, superb visibility and prolific marine life on the eastern side of the atolls
