Saving Planet Earth

Coinciding with the 50th year of the BBC Natural History Unit, the BBC is launching a series of programmes entitled 'Saving Planet Earth' which will depict the fragility in numbers of some of the world's most endearing creatures. The first in the series of programmes - 'Sharing Planet Earth' at 7pm on Sunday 24th June on BBC One is introduced by Sir David Attenborough.

Tiger is Coming

Fiona Bruce - Tigers in Bandhavgarh

Wildlife Worldwide, in association with The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation has been helping with the conservation of two of India's fastest declining species; Tigers and the One-horned Rhino. Newsreader Fiona Bruce travels to Bandhavgarh tiger reserve in central India to understand the situation first hand and report for the Saving Planet Earth programme on BBC One on Tuesday 26th June at 7pm. Phil Tufnell - Rhinos in Kaziranga

Watch cricketer Phil Tufnell's report on the plight of the Indian One-horned Rhino on BBC One on Friday 29th June at 7pm. Phil travels to Kaziranga National Park in Assam, India, where conservation work, including David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation projects, has increased numbers of this threatened species and aided other species, including tiger, at the same time.
