Add-on Los Glacieres National Park

Based for three nights at Posada Los Alamos in El Cafate, spend a full day in Los Glaciares National Park. Here you cruise by zodiac across Lake Argentino in front of the towering ice walls of the Perito Moreno Glacier, navigating around the ice blocks which constantly carve from it. Land on an uninhabited beach and hike on the glacier - equipment is provided and no previous experience is needed. Look out for Andean Condor, Buff-necked Ibis, Black-chested Buzzard and Ashy-headed Goose. Spend a further day visiting the Upsala and Onelli Glaciers, the Upsala Glacier being the largest on the continental icecap, before returning to El Calafate.
