- Days 1 to 4. Cape Town [B days 3 & 4 only]
- Depart UK on the overnight flight to Cape Town where you spend three nights. You will have plenty of time to explore Cape Town, soak up the amazing view from the top of Table Mountain, visit Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was held prisoner for so many years and dine at any of the mouth-watering restaurants. A full day trip to Cape Point can be arranged during your stay (at extra cost) - highlights include the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve with over 250 species of birds, African Penguins at Simon's Town and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

- Days 5 to 7. Kruger National Park [B, L, D]
- Transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Kruger where you spend the next three nights. Kruger National Park is world famous for good reason since it offers a wildlife experience which ranks with the best in Africa. Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the lowveld, it stretches 350 kilometres from north to south and is virtually unrivalled in its diversity of life forms, with 300 species of tree, 49 fish species, 33 amphibian species, 114 reptile species, 507 bird species and 147 mammal species! Notable amongst its mammals are Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Elephant, Hippo, Nile Crocodile, Giraffe and both Black, and White Rhino.

River Lodge is in the Lion Sands Private Game Reserve in the Sabi Sand area. The lodge has 18 luxurious thatched bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, outdoor and inside shower and wooden viewing deck. There are two swimming pools, wooden viewing decks, a secluded bird hide, hammocks and a spa. During your stay you can go on morning and afternoon game drives as well as guided bush walks.

- Days 8 to 11. Mozambique [B, L, D]
- After morning game-viewing transfer to the airport and fly to Vilanculos in Mozambique. Transfer by road and speed boat to Marlin Lodge where you spend four nights. The three main islands of Margaruque, Benguera and Bazaruto make up the Bazaruto Archipelago. Marlin Lodge which lies on Benguera consists of nineteen en-suite wood, reed-and-thatch chalets all facing the sea at Flamingo Bay. Activities here include water skiing, sailing, snorkelling, dhow sunset cruises, fishing and scuba diving.

- After a morning at leisure return to the airport for your overnight flight via Johannesburg arriving on day 13.
