Day 1: Depart UK

Fly with South African Airways on the overnight service from London Heathrow to Johannesburg.

Days 2 -3: Oceana Beach & Wildlife Reserve

On arrival connect with the domestic flight to Port Elizabeth. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the short distance to Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve, where you will stay for two nights. Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve is located on a long stretch of private beach, in the heart of the Eastern Cape. Here, you have the opportunity to lounge on the unspoilt beach while looking out for both whales and rhino. The main lodge consists of a spacious lounge, with a bar and casual lunch venue.

Relax at the spa, beside the swimming pool, or on the deck with beautiful ocean views. Game drives are on offer with the opportunity of seeing White Rhino, buffalo, giraffe and other wildlife. You can also engage in ocean activities such as snorkelling, fishing and whale watching. Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve also provide special explorations, including a magnificent sundowner excursion, guided beach walks, and a helicopter trip over the area. (B)

Days 4 - 5: Shamwari

Today you will be transferred to Shamwari Game Reserve. You will stay two nights at either Eagles Crag or Lobengula Lodge. Eagles Crag is nestled in a valley and provides the ultimate luxury for the most discerning of travellers. Each of the nine superior rooms has been built to maximize the privacy of the guest in the most tranquil of settings. The en-suite rooms boast a private deck with pool, as well as indoor and outdoor showers. Decorated in light and contemporary colours, with wall-to-wall glass doors on two sides, these suites provide stunning views of the surrounding cliffs. The luxury spa offers a wide variety of personalized treatments. The upper floor dining room and lounge, and ground floor library, lounge and cocktail bar, all further compliment the guests "African bushveld experience".

Lobengula Lodge is a truly classical African experience. Tucked away deep in the valley bushveld, this ethnically decorated thatched lodge offers guests a tranquil, luxurious and exclusive getaway. Two of the five luxury suites have private plunge pools whilst the remaining three suites are situated adjacent to the large swimming pool. The Chief suite boasts a large lounge with fireplace and private pool. Lobengula Lodge serves lavish meals either on the main deck, in the dining room beside the fireplace or in the outside boma under the stars. A selection of fine and rare South African wines are available from the cellar.

Shamwari Private Game Reserve is home to Africa's Big 5 (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard), is malaria free and is situated in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. This reserve has received numerous international awards, including the World's Leading Conservation Company and Game Reserve for many consecutive years. It is situated in verdant bush along the Bushmans River, halfway between Port Elizabeth and Grahamstown. Steeped in pioneer history, and dating back to the time when a multitude of game roamed wild and free, the 25 000 hectare reserve boasts five eco-systems, thus enabling the support of many forms of plant, animal and bird life. Day 6: Departure

Today you will be transferred back to Port Elizabeth Airport for your flight to Johannesburg where you connect with your international flight to London Heathrow. (B)
