Grey Whales of Magdalena Bay

Days 1 to 6. Magdalena Bay [B & L & D (Days 3 to 6 only)]

Depart London for La Paz, spending the night in Los Angeles en-route at the Marriott Hotel. On arrival in La Paz, a transfer will be provided to Los Arcos Hotel where you spend the night. Next morning, transfer to the Whalewatch Camp at Magdalena Bay on the west coast of the Baja Peninsula where you stay for four nights. Sheltered by low barrier islands, the waters of Magdalena Bay provide a perfect and peaceful winter home to hundreds of Grey Whales. Twin walk-in tents and solarheated showers provide comfortable accommodation while activities on offer include birdwatching, hiking, beach exploring, sea-kayaking and of course whalewatching.

Days 7 to 9. Homeward [B (Days 7 & 8 only)]

You return to La Paz by bus for a further night at Los Arcos Hotel before flying home the following day. Please note that we are also able to offer Blue Whale cruises, Whale Shark expeditions and trips to San Ignacio Lagoon to see Grey Whales. Please do ask us for details.
