Alexsey Maryshev/Grigoriy Mikheev The Alexsey Maryshev and Grigoriy Mikheev are modern, comfortable research vessels built in Finland in 1990. Both ships have icestrengthened hulls designed for sailing in polar waters. Converted for passenger use in The Netherlands they carry up to 46 passengers in triple and twin cabins with private or shared facilities. These small ships provide a great opportunity to explore the remote polar areas with a small group of fellow travellers. They both have a cosy bar where passengers can read, relax and have a drink while discussing their day's adventures.
