This is an exhilarating trip taking in Brazil's best wildlife and natural highlights plus the exhilarating city of Rio de Janeiro! The Amazon is home to simply millions of animal and bird species - a mystery unfolds as you see acrobatic troupes of monkeys in the forest canopy above or hear the hacking cough of the jaguar, stalking his prey. From the Amazon it's to the Pantanal where we've designed a programme of enticing activities to get you close to the wildlife - from boat journeys to horse rides. Finally, you'll see the mighty Iguassu Falls - a spectacular end to a spectacular tour!

Day 1. Depart UK for Brazil

Day 2. Rio de Janeiro

Your introduction to Rio is a city tour including famous Sugar Loaf Mountain (B)

Days 3 - 6. The Amazon

An exciting Amazon cruise on-board the Amazon Clipper. En-route you'll see many birds and mammals, and be taken on walks and canoe rides with your expert guides (BLD - only breakfast and lunch included on day 3, and breakfast on day 6)

Days 7 - 9. Pantanal

A myriad of exciting activities await in the Pantanal, where you can go horse-riding through the jungle, on a photographic safari by boat and nocturnal animal spotting by jeep! (BLD)

Day 10 -11. Iguassu Falls

We've included walks on both the Brazilian and Argentinean sides of the falls, for close-up and panoramic views (BL - only breakfast included on day 11)

Day 12. Depart Brazil for the UK
