Winter Evening Events at Long Barn South
Wildlife at the Barn
-
Over the dark winter months we hosted three hugely successful themed evenings (an Indian extravaganza, a Rainforest wilderness and an African Rhino evening) at our beautiful barn conversion offices. These free events enabled our customers to enhance their painting skills with top Hampshire-based wildlife artist Jonathan Truss and learn more about wildlife photography and rhino conservation with top wildlife photographers Nick Garbutt and David Back.
Wildlife Artist Jonathan Truss during the workshop Each event included drinks and canapes (some served on site by the excellent Alresford Indian restaurant, The Shapla), and for each evening our offices were decorated in a different way to tie in with our themes. At our 'Hot and Sticky in the Jungle' evening with award-winning wildlife photographer Nick Garbutt, we even turned part of our office into an amazing live reptile house with Iguana's, King Python's and tarantula's. Entrance donations for each event were directed to three different wildlife conservation groups; The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, the Environmental Investigation Agency and David Back's rhino conservation concern Horny@50.
