Luangwa Walking Adventure

This is another of our really popular Luangwa safaris. After the first couple of nights at Tafika, you will mainly be enjoying the wildlife on foot. Walking out of Taafika to the riverside and crissing over by banana boat you enter a vehicle free world so you can concentrate on the sounds and smells of the wilderness - the tracks, trails and the real bush experience. Then by light aircraft across the valley to North Luangwa to resume your wilderness quest on foot from Mwaleshi.

Day 1. Depart UK for Mfuwe (via Lusaka)

Day 2. South Luangwa

2-nights, Tafika. Game drivers morning and night, and optional micro-liting (BLD)

Day 4. South Luangwa

2-nights, Chikoko Tree Camp. Walking safaris and relaxing in this beautiful bush camp (BLD)

Day 6. South Luangwa

2-nights, Crocodile River Camp. Morning and afternoon walks (BLD)

Day 8. North Luangwa

4-nights, Mwaleshi. Walking safaris, picnics and perhaps a night drive (BLD)

Day 12. Lusaka

1-night, Pioneer Camp (BD)

Day 13. Depart for the UK
