If you are a connoisseur who yearns for untouched wilderness, this is the safari! The Bangweulu wetland holds a spectacular wildlife secret: over 100,000 black lechwe and the world's most visible, highly endangered, shoebill stork. On your quest to spot this remarkable bird, you will also see elephant, lion, giraffe and many other species. Kasanka famously has over 400 bird species, and tsessebe and sitatunga species of antelope. Concluding in the magnifi cent Luangwa Valley creates a memorable wildlife experience - with a chance to see wild dog and explore the lush landscape.

- Depart UK for Lusaka
- Day 2
- Arrive Lusaka, fly to Mfuwe, 1 night lodge/camp. Game drive.
- Day 3
- Fly to Bangweulu Swamp and transfer by boat to Shoebill tented camp for 2 nights.
- Day 4
- Boat and foot safaris to track the elusive Shoebill.
- Day 5
- Fly to Kasanka, 2 nights Wasa tented camp.
- Day 6
- Birding and game watching; visit the sitatunga hide with its panoramic views over the Kapabi Swamp.
- Day 7
- Fly to Mfuwe and transfer to South Luangwa National Park, 3 nights Nwkali tented camp.
- Days 8-9
- Vehicle and foot safaris; the birds and game in the area are excellent and include many migrating species of birds not seen in the Luangwa Valley during the dry season and also the endemic species of giraffe, the Thornicroft.
- Day 10
- Fly from Mfuwe to Lusaka and onward to the UK.

- Arrive UK.
