Visit the best, wildest places of coastal British Columbia. A great tour for wildlife enthusiasts with an abundance of grizzly and black bears, and orca, pacific grey and humpback whales. Wildlife viewing opportunities are excellent on this self-drive itinerary.
- Day 1. Depart UK for Vancouver
- Arrive in Vancouver and collect hire car. 1-night bed & breakfast accommodation
- Day 2. Whistler
- Travel north along the scenic Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler, enjoying panoramic views of Howe Sound and the Coast Range mountains en route. 1-night bed & breakfast. Enjoy one of the many activities on offer, or relax!
- Day 3. 100 Mile House
- Drive north from Whistler and enjoy breath-taking views of Joffee Glacier and snow capped Mount Currie, continue to 100 Mile House. 1-night bed & breakfast
- Days 4-5. Bella Coola
- West to Bella Coola, 2-nights bed & breakfast. Head into the Great Bear Rainforest - an area with one of the highest densities of brown bear. Take an Eco-Rafting float trip, accompanied by a biologist and river guide
- Day 6. Discovery Coast
- Discovery Coast, 1-night. Optional ferry trip with amazing sightings of whales, porpoise and dolphin
- Days 7-9. Telegraph Cove
- From Port Hardy make your way south to Telegraph Cove , a small compact village nestled between the ocean and rainforest. 3 nights Telegraph Cove Resort. Enjoy bear and whalewatching on this beautiful, remote island (paid upon arrival)
- Days 10-12. Vancouver
- Return to Vancouver - 3 nights bed & breakfast. Free time to explore this lively city.
- Day 13. Depart Vancouver for the UK
