This is a wonderful introduction to the wildlife of Ethiopia and offers the opportunity to see not only all of the country's key wildlife highlights, but a chance to see one of the world's rarest mammals - the Ethiopian wolf. Other species highlights include Menelik's bushbuck and mountain nyala.

Days 1-2. Fly to Addis Ababa

Overnight flight to Addis Ababa, 1 night hotel

Days 3-4. Simien Mountains

Fly to Gondar and drive to Simien Mountains - 2 nights Simien Lodge. Full day excursion to Chenek to see walia ibex.

Day 5. Gondar

Drive back to Gondar - 1 night Goha Hotel. Explore the castles, and natural beauty of Gondar (BLD)

Days 6-7. Lalibela

Fly to Lalibela - 2 nights Mountain View Hotel. Visit the amazing churches in one of the wonders of the world

Day 8. Lake Langano

Fly to Addis, then transfer by road to Lake Langano - 1 night Sabana Lodge. Relax and view the wildlife.

Days 9-10. Bale Mountains

Drive to Bale Mountains - 2 nights Dinsho Lodge. An opportunity to seek out the Ethiopian wolf (BLD)

Day 11. Depart Addis Ababa for the UK

Return to Addis Ababa and depart late evennig.

Day 12. Arrive UK
