Bear Watching Holidays in Slovakia

The High Tatras are the highest mountains in the Carpathian Arc, and offer not only spectacular walking, but account for a high proportion of Europe's brown bear population. In co-operation with the High Tatras National Park Authority, this unique family adventure offers you the chance to go looking for bears on foot. We have limited the group size to a maximum of just 8, in order to minimise disturbance to the natural habitat, and our observations on bear behaviour and bear traces will be passed onto and consequently assist with the Park's own research and conservation efforts.
