Festival of Wildlife in Canada - Feedback 2007
Diana: 25th September 2007
Very many thanks to you all for another super Festival; so very different, but just as exciting amongst wonderful scenery, and to all the experts for imparting some of their experience in all forms.
Lovely black and white bears, cuddly, but... well, not quite! Fascinating to watch. Icing on the cake was, of course, the baby Kermodes; just wished they had stayed still, but little ones never do! and also the boat, which did not make for good photos; however, just thought you might like to see an odd one of the many I took, though I am still wading through them - and they will appear here soon!
Great whales sightings, the quantity of seal lions was awesome. Sorry no wolves.
Vancouver is a very attractive city and the tours very interesting. Accommodation was super, especially the KPL room, for which many thanks for such a super view. The Observatory meal was delicious as, in fact, all the food on the trip.
Many thanks for the binoculars, made extra clear viewing!!

Dear Mel and Alison,
Thank you both so much for all the hard work you put into making the 2007 festival so successful. I had an enormously enjoyable time at both King Pacific Lodge and Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge. Nanuk was wonderful and I thought you would like to see the attached photo showing Nick communicating with one of the cubs.
