Mark Carwardine
Mark Carwardine is a zoologist, consultant, award-winning writer,
BBC Wildlife and Wanderlust columnist, and a widely-published photographer with a
special interest in marine wildlife. He presented the weekly BBC Radio 4 programme
Nature for six years and his 52nd book, Shark,
was published by BBC Books in 2004. He also has an extensive collection of wildlife,
nature and environment photographs taken on all seven continents and in more than 100
