British Wildlife Photography Awards

It goes without saying that all of us in the office are passionate about wildlife, but many of us are also keen wildlife photographers. Over the last few years we have been repeatedly drawn to the fabulous images featured in the British Wildlife Photography Awards.

This prestigious photography competition aims to recognise the talents of photographers who practise in the UK, while also highlighting the great wealth and diversity of the country’s natural history.

This year we are delighted to announce that we are sponsoring the very competitive Wild Woods category. ‘The judges will be looking for a winning image that celebrates the beauty and importance or sheer splendour of our British woods. Photographs must be clearly taken of or within woodland.’

{img_alt} The winner of the Wild Woods category will receive two places on our Photography Workshop - Dorset's Spring Treasures - in May 2018 with acclaimed photographers Nick Garbutt and Alex Hyde (Alex won the Hidden Britain category in 2015).

On this three-day break you will be able to fine tune your photography techniques in the rich meadows of the Kingcombe Meadows nature reserve. We are also running the workshop in May of this year if you would like to take the opportunity to develop your skills sooner!

If you would like to find out more about the British Wildlife Photography Awards or you would be interested in entering, please visit the website: Note the competition closes at midnight on 3 June 2017.

We wish those of you who enter the very best of luck and hope you can join us in Dorset in May 2018.
