Aldous Huxley described Arusha as the jewel of African National Parks, and set between the towering peaks of Mount Meru and snow-capped Kilimanjaro, it is easy to see why.
The park comprises lush forest, the beautiful Momella Lakes and the tranquil craters of Ngurdoto and Mount Meru. Arusha offers an entrancing diversity of habitats and is one of the few places on the northern safari circuit where the acrobatic colobus monkey can be easily seen. Few parks offer such variety.
