The southwestern tip of Tobago – known as Crown Point – is a well-known holiday hotspot due to its picture-postcard, palm-lined, sandy beaches, which are lapped by calm, crystal-clear seas of an almost unnatural turquoise colour. It is also the site of Tobago’s international airport.

Pigeon Point has white sands, ultramarine waters and a coral reef where you can snorkel, dive or take a glass-bottomed boat to see spectacular marine life, while Stone Bay is fringed with beach bars.

After sunset Crown Point comes alive with lively bars and restaurants, while on Sunday everyone heads for nearby Buccoo Bay to enjoy barbecues and steel bands.
