Cruising the fjord offers an excellent opportunity to see humpback whales and orcas, as well as seals, sealions, porpoises, sea otters and a huge colony of puffins.

Day cruises departs from Seward, during which you can experience towering glaciers and calving icebergs. 

Whilst the terrestrial park residents include mountain goat, moose, bear, wolverine and marmot there are good concentrations of bald eagles and among the many thousands of seabirds that congregate here are kittiwakes, guillemots and gulls.
