The ice-strengthened Ushuaia boasts 46 cabins and suites for a total of 88 passengers, and has been specially refurbished for Antarctic expedition voyages.

The vessel was originally built in 1970 for the United States National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration agency. She benefits from generous deck space and an open bridge policy, together with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic crew. The food and wine is very good too!

Each cabin has a desk and ample storage space, and public areas include an observation lounge to maximise enjoyment of the voyage and wildlife viewing. A fleet of Zodiac inflatables is used for shore landings.
