Mboko is the largest of Odzala's three camps, with 12 comfortable canvas cabins (including two family units), nestled along the Lekoli River in open grassland.
Each cabin has an en suite bathroom with hot water, mosquito net, fan and its own private deck with a breathtaking view over the forest or the river. There is a dining room, lounge and bar area with a star deck and fire pit beside the Lekoli River, which guarantees memorable evenings mulling over the day’s events, but also attracts regular visitors such as forest elephant and buffalo.
Most activities at the camp are a combination of walks and boat trips, while some driving may be required to get from one place to another. One of the best walks near the lodge include a 700-metre wooden walkway into the forest with good opportunities to see a wide range of Congo's birds and butterflies, while water-based activities in the area bring great sightings of forest elephants, forest buffaloes, and various primate species.
Deep in the dense rainforest of Congo's Odzala-Kokoua National Park, track habituated lowland gorilla groups in a pristine wilderness barely ever touched by tourism, and enjoy the area's incredibly beautiful fauna and flora, with a kayaking trip down Lekoli River and walks on forest elephant trails.

Odzala-Kokoua National Park is perfect for the wildlife enthusiast who yearns for adventure and discovery. It provides a refuge for 114 mammal species and more than 400 species of birds. A known 16 primate species can be found here, including the western lowland gorilla, one of Africa's great apes.
