Located at the western end of the Etosha Pan, Okaukuejo is the oldest rest camp in Etosha National Park. A key attraction is its waterhole which is floodlit at night.

Okaukuejo Rest Camp overlooks a permanent waterhole which attracts a wide diversity of wildlife. At dawn animals come in large numbers to quench their thirst, and the activity continues throughout the day and deep into the night. In the early evenings, black rhinoceros, elephant and lion are often seen drinking at the same time. Waterhole chalets with patios or balcony, bush chalets with lounge and braai area, or double rooms with fridge are available; all are en suite.
