BC’s largest city (but not, however, the provincial capital) stands in an exquisite coastal setting against a backdrop of lofty tree-covered peaks.

There is plenty to do and see in this lively, multi-cultural centre: lush Stanley Park, with the Capilano Suspension Bridge, is a great place to explore on foot or by bike. Or take a trip across to Granville Island to look at the tempting array of produce on offer at the local market. The city has excellent restaurants, bars and coffee shops, and the downtown area around Robson Street is great for shopping.
